Pietra Fina, Inc. was established in 1997 by brothers Michele & Federico Bernardini. The passion for natural stone runs in the Bernardini family. They are from Italy’s famed Carrara region, the world capital of natural stone, and their father was in the business.

Today the Bernardini family puts their 50 years of knowledge to work providing the finest natural stone to the Bay Area’s top designers, architects, and fabricators. All the stones at Pietra Fina’s Bay Area showroom are personally hand-selected and inspected by Michele and Federico. In addition to the incomparable stone from their homeland, they also import natural stones from Brazil, India, and elsewhere. The Hayward, California showroom has the best selection of natural stone slabs in the Bay Area, including hard-to-find large sizes and specialty stones.
