Kate Abney

LUXE Interiors + Design’s Southeast Homes Editor, Kate Abney, is a lifelong Southerner (excepting a summer stint in NYC!) who began her career working at magazines in South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. Based in Atlanta, she joined LUXE in 2018 to help launch the Southeast edition and continues to produce the Southeast regional content for the brand, highlighting the inspiring work of design professionals, fine artists and other creatives with a distinctly Southern point of view. Her sweet spot is historically rooted, yet fresh and forward-thinking projects. Her 18-plus-year journalism career has included features with A-list designers, Grammy nominees, a knighted billionaire and an Academy Award winner.
