Lisa Kahn, founder and CEO of Lisa Kahn Designs, has revealed The Sanctuary Collection for Chelsea House, an impactful assortment that includes furniture such as desks, bookshelves, mirrors, lighting and decorative accessories. The line is infused with elements and motifs she believes resonate with the soul—from crystals and textured woods to sacred geometries and celestial symbols.

“My approach, centered on the concept of sanctuary, leads me to view spaces as more than just protective shelters. They’re crafted to nourish the soul by integrating the beauty and harmony of nature into our everyday existence,” Kahn says. “With this collection, my aspiration is to enhance both our living spaces and daily practices, encouraging contemplation and a strong sense of connection.” One of her cherished pieces is a white writing desk with delicate gold accents, which Kahn envisioned as a sacred place for journaling or creating. Another prized favorite is a navy bookshelf with glass doors, accented with gold details showcasing phases of the moon across its front panels.

“The moon and stars aren’t mere aesthetics; they encapsulate the serenity and rhythm of the natural world,” she says. “The very essence of these celestial emblems aligns with the sanctuary I wish to bring into every space.”
