Lindye Galloway's New Collection Reflects Her Natural, Refined Style

Newport Beach-based interior designer Lindye Galloway has launched Le Maé by Lindye, a furniture collection that reflects her signature style: an easy but refined look that has won her projects across the country and a devoted Instagram following. “I drew inspiration from our high-end home projects—custom millwork details, premium fabrics, solid woods, our level of craftsmanship—and designed these furnishings to last for years,” says Galloway. The collection, which includes seating, a coffee table, case pieces, a bedroom suite, lighting and mirrors, exudes warmth and softness with a uniquely Southern California-meets-Mediterranean aesthetic. A natural material palette of white oak, walnut, brass and linen further enhances it. The arches of the Mallorca credenza pay homage to the architecture of Southern Europe; the Milos lounge chair is a contemporary play on a traditional shepherd’s crook armchair; and the leather and rope details of the Palermo counter stools bring an equestrian feel. So pleased is Galloway with the collection that the Porto bench, a curved white oak design with a cognac-hued velvet cushion, takes pride of place in her entryway. “There’s no cutting corners with any these pieces,” she adds. “They’re designed to endure and become heirlooms.”
