Lauded for his contemporary style, L.A. DeRiggi recently branched out with his new Naples firm, Hudson Park Interior Design, named after his beloved dogs. While DeRiggi had an unconventional start in business, he gravitated toward interior design and architecture after studying in London, Paris and Italy. Eventually, he returned to school to achieve a master’s degree in interior architecture. After working at three revered firms, the designer recognized it was the perfect time to go out on his own with a fresh perspective. Below, he shares more with Luxe about this new chapter.

With a background in business, what inspired you to pursue design? As I delved into various ventures after receiving my degree in business management and marketing, I resurrected a passion for interior design. I realized the significant role it plays in creating appealing and functional spaces that can positively impact client experiences. I value how the two fields intersect and complement each other and my ability to blend creativity with strategic thinking.

Describe your style. My aesthetic is rooted in the fusion of clean, minimalist design with the use of natural materials, textures and tones. I take pride in offering full-service luxury interior design, ensuring every aspect of a project is meticulously planned and executed to exceed the clients’ expectations.

What sets you apart? With my background in interior architecture, I bring a keen eye for architectural details to every project. This allows me to seamlessly integrate the interior and architectural elements, creating spaces that not only look stunning but also function flawlessly.
